Project Description
The name Resurgo which means “I Rise Again” is Latin and is the first motto (1890) of the City of Moncton. Resurgo Place features the Transportation Discovery Centre, the Moncton Museum, new exhibition galleries, an education center, gift shop, research centre, the Visitor Information Centre and an interior public plaza designed to preserve the 1916 sandstone façade of the former City Hall.
The museum offers visitors a unique and interactive experience dedicated to history, science and transportation. The new facility has been expanded to include high-quality exhibitions and hands-on interactives. The reorganized exhibition spaces make it a unique, state-of-the-art facility that offers original programming while continuously promoting heritage. Resurgo Place is a source of great pride for local citizens and is a dynamic, exciting destination.
Electrical Systems Description:
The lighting system incorporated specialized exhibit lighting and integrated strategy for control by the A/V system, which provides and interactive experience for the Public.
