Charles Hayden Parking Garage

This is a 450-car above grade facility expandable to 660 cars completed for the Parking Authority of Toronto. The garage straddles the existing Yonge Street subway line, which cuts diagonally across the site.  In order to minimize the impact of the subway structure on the functional planning of the garage, it was necessary to minimize the size of the building foundations and therefore, the weight of the structure.
